History

Our origins

In 1978, a group of transport operators began operations in Barcelona. Over the following two decades, the network expanded to provide extensive distribution coverage across Spain, Portugal and Andorra. In response to growing volumes and continued expansion, the T2 Transportes brand was created to establish a stronger market presence as a unified national group. Significant investment was made in refrigerated logistics infrastructure, including warehousing facilities and vehicle fleets.

Organic growth and diversification in Spain and Portugal

In 1998, the shareholding structure was reorganised and the Grupo T2 brand was discontinued with the launch of Integra2. Meanwhile, the Madrid partner resumed operations under the Transportes Alameda name. Integra2, Nacex and Opelog were brought together under Grupo Burgal, equipping the transport business with the human resources, technological infrastructure and information systems required to support its planned growth.

Logista

In 2002, Logista acquired Grupo Burgal. Integra2 and Nacex continued operating under their existing brands, while OPELOG evolved into Logista Pharma. Shortly afterwards, Logista acquired Transportes Alameda, further strengthening the Integra2 network. This process enabled Integra2 to play a key role across Logista’s traditional business areas, including Pharma, Convenience, Books and other sectors of strategic importance to the Group.

During the following decade, significant investments were made in temperature-controlled facilities and technologies capable of providing unique temperature traceability. This strengthened the company's value proposition and aligned its services with the demanding quality standards of its customers, including GDP (Good Distribution Practice) certification for pharmaceutical distribution and ISO 22000 food safety certification. Since 2015, Logista Parcel has measured the carbon footprint of every shipment and has worked continuously to reduce emissions while meeting corporate compliance requirements.

Today

In 2021, Logista refreshed its visual identity and the Integra2 network was renamed Logista Parcel, aligning it with the Group’s brand architecture.

In 2022, Logista acquired Grupo Carbó Collbatallé, a transport and logistics network specialising primarily in frozen food distribution.

In 2023, the integration of Carbó into the Parcel Network began, expanding the portfolio of temperature-controlled services available to the food sector.
